I used this as part of my mobile office in the second row of our minivan. I attached this mount to the headrest of the front seat, and then put my portable USB-powered 15" monitor in it, and it worked great. I had my laptop on my lap, but having a second monitor that was more at eye level was a big improvement for my neck. I had to tighten things up pretty hard to get it to hold the weight, and after about 8 hours of driving I would still need to tweak some of the adjustments, but I consider that fair considering how much weight it was holding and all the vibration it was subject to.The installation was very easy, and adjusting the arms with the included Allen wrench was also easy. Tightening and loosening the knob just behind the screen was somewhat difficult.
